Harry is a thoughtful and caring father towards Sally. He usually trusts her and is proud of her, even if sometimes he is forced to be stern with her. He'll crack a few corny jokes once in a while around Sally, Mrs. Apu, and Doowee.
At times Sally views him as embarrassing but still looks up to him as a great detective.
