Kevin McCallister was a young boy who was separated from his family twice and forced to defend himself against burglars Marv and Harry. After a massive fight and later a brief argument with his mother, he was very angry and the next day, he was left behind, and they've forgotten about him, and Kevin ended up doing many crazy things in the house.

This was a rare discovery that Home Alone 3 was intended to star Macaulay Culkin but it decided by the actor who played Kevin in the first two movies, even though he was portrayed as a teenager, Macaulay Culkin had to turn down the role as he quit acting Richie Rich and had grown weary of "childish" roles, which Home Alone 3 instead focuses on another kid named, "Alex."
