Randall Boggs is the main antagonist of the Disney/Pixar's animated Monsters, Inc. franchise. He serves as the main antagonist of Disney•Pixar's 2001 animated film, Monsters, Inc., a major antagonist in the 2013 prequel, Monsters University, and the overarching antagonist of Monsters at Work.
Snide and vindictive, Randall is notoriously envious of James P. Sullivan, the most beloved scarer in Monstropolis. To make his mark on the world while simultaneously stealing Sullivan's spotlight, Randall plots to "revolutionize" the scaring industry using conspiratorial means that involves kidnapping human children.
